About Us
Grupo Real del Mar is the operating and marketing company for what any real estate researcher would consider one of the Costa Vallarta’s most distinct developments, easily recognizable for their innovative design and individuality in the region. Grupo Real del Mar was born out of a partnership of three established Guadalajara families known in Guadalajara under the umbrella company of Tierra y Armonía (Land and Harmony).
The families have more than 25 years experience developing urban architectural projects totalling more than 40 developments with approximately 7,000 residences that include the recognizable names of Valle Real and El Manantial in Guadalajara.
They diligently emphasize quality at every step of the way, from solid infrastructure to detailed finishing. They are admired for creating living environments that are beautifully adapted to the terrain and location.
The company laid roots on the Costa Vallarta in 2000 when the dream of Real del Mar luxury residences came to life. Malecon condominiums in downtown Puerto Vallarta followed, while the master plan for Punta Esmeralda was in the works. Real del Mar enjoyed among the highest sales on the bay in 2004 and continues to offer a portfolio of beautiful residences, unveiling a few homes at a time as the last remaining lots are developed, which will continue through 2007.
Punta Esmeralda took off in 2004 as homes rose out of the dust, landscaping took form and the public was awed by an ingenious plan that incorporates several living concepts into an artfully sculpted terrain. It is half way through its construction and continues to present new appealing designs for each part of the development, expected to complete in 2007.
Early 2005 saw the selling madness of La Joya Condominiums, a small project in the Las Glorias zone that once again had heads turning at the company’s instinct and ability to conceive a winning plan for a prime location.
The group has always worked with the best teams of architects to create singular living environments, well evidenced in all of these projects, thanks to the talent and renown of architects such as Gerardo Ulate and Grupo Gómez Vázquez Aldana.
On the horizon are two equally unique developments that will underscore the presence of Grupo Real del Mar on the Costa Vallarta and make the GRDM signature ever more indelible from north to south.

How to find us:
From Puerto Vallarta, follow the highway 200 (known as the Carretera Federal Tepic-Puerto Vallarta) north to Bucerias. As you pass the last light in Bucerias, you will go up a hill for another 1/4 mile and notice the large billboard for Punta Esmeralda on your left. You will also see the terracotta wall for Punta Esmeralda on the left. Merge into the left hand lane and get ready to turn left (before the exit to Punta de Mita/La Cruz). The road is known as the El Tizate road. You will make another immediate left into the main entrance of Punta Esmeralda where our friendly security staff will welcome you
